The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our automated monitoring tools which check the health of live websites we host via uptime monitoring and crawling for broken links.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage our website monitoring tools
  • Triage issues/alerts/requests as they come in
  • Collate reports from our monitoring tools and Service Desk
  • Action, cascade and escalate enquiries/issues coming into Service Desk or Monitoring tools
  • Communicate to internal and external customers
  • Ensure issues are resolved within SLA
  • Provide reports of issues coming into Service Desk or monitoring tools internally and externally
  • Assist with the introduction, development and maintenance of analysis and reporting processes.

Essential

  • Previous Service Desk experience (minimum 1 year)
  • A demonstrable understanding of issues surrounding hosting and support of web applications
  • Ability to effectively perform first-line diagnosis of common web application errors
  • Thrive in a pressurised environment
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • The flexibility to work weekends and outside of weekday 9:00-5:30 hours when required

Preferred

  • Exposure to web development/hosting using the Microsoft .Net Framework
  • Previous IT/Development experience (minimum 1 year)
  • Experience using JIRA Service Desk
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Experience using Confluence
  • ITIL qualification
  • Testing Experience
  • Experience using SEO tools like Deepcrawl or Siteimprove
  • Experience using Google Analytics and google tag manager
  • Experience collating reports
  • Experience using Uptime monitoring tools like Uptim robot or Pingdom.
