Responsible for the provision of professional support and management of IT infrastructure, in this client facing role you will focus on service delivery and user consultancy.

 

Utilising monitoring techniques and striving to meet and exceed KPIs and service levels, you’ll be working to achieve optimal uptime for services whilst providing effective response to unforeseeable incidents. You’ll be providing regular feedback and be closely involved in knowledge sharing initiatives by contributing to our Knowledge Management database and through coordinated feedback amongst IT and shared services groups.

Supporting the IT lifecycle with insightful feedback and awareness of business goals, you’ll be accountable for planning and implementation of maintenance and change activities across a range of hardware and software across the network.

Confident in assisting with projects and deployments, you’ll be working with User Services to ensure that communications initiatives are integrated with project activities as you work to engage with end users, including the provision of Global Executive Support.

With a degree or a similar equivalent in an IT oriented field, you’re comfortable operating across the various aspects of a large client facing IT environment. With experience of ticketing and monitoring tools, you’ll be skilled at prioritising and planning and maintaining excellent communicative relationships with those you work with.

 

Knowledgeable of both Apple and PC desktop platforms and Microsoft and Google products, you’ll also be confident in providing support for mobile devices. Some experience of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry would be useful, but above all, you’ll need to be a capable troubleshooter that can deliver excellent service levels and foster teamwork amongst colleagues.
