This course is suitable for both introductory training and as a refresher course for engineers already working in the pharmaceutical and related healthcare environments.
Good Engineering Practice should be applied to all stages within the lifecycle of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations from facility and equipment design, installation, operation, validation or verification and maintenance. It has been highlighted in standards like E2500 as being an integral part of the quality system along with risk management, design review, change management and continuous improvement in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The purpose of this course is to highlight how current GMP's are applied to pharmaceutical engineering and technical services to ensure facilities, equipment and processes are maintained to the highest possible standards expected by the Regulatory Authorities.
