CONCORD, Calif., Oct. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The founders of Bay Alarm Medical, a company that provides medical and life alert systems for seniors, are pleased to announce that they will donate warm socks to the Socks 4 Seniors program in San Francisco this holiday season.
To learn more about medical alert systems and why they can literally be life savers for older people, please visit the website.
As a spokesperson for bayalarmmedical.com noted, the company will team up with Bombas to donate up to 2,000 pairs of socks per month. Together, both companies will donate to the Socks in the City Program at the St. Anthony's Foundation.
Also, each time a customer purchases a subscription to one of the life alert systems, Bay Alarm Medical will include a free pair of premium Bombas socks.
The timing for the upcoming giveaway could not be better. Winter is just around the corner, and by the time the holidays roll around, parts of the country are under a blanket of snow. The winter can be especially challenging to seniors, who often find it difficult to keep their feet warm. Homeless and needy people also can benefit from a pair of new and warm socks.
"We've purchased socks from Bombas to give away to our customers with their orders placed during the holiday season—while supplies last," noted the company spokesperson.
The fact that Bay Alarm Medical is partnering with Bombas to donate socks to seniors will not surprise the many customers who have worked with the company over the years. Since they first opened, Bay Alarm Medical has earned a well-deserved reputation for caring for their customers, many of whom are elderly.
The team from Bay Alarm Medical is excited to partner with Bombas, and ensure that thousands of people will have warm feet this winter.
"Bombas is crowd-funded athletic sock retailer with a noble mission of donating socks to the needy," the spokesperson said.
