Requirements:

The RS (Resourcing Solutions) department of Chiltern International acts in a similar way to that of a staffing solutions provider. The department is currently seeking a Clinical Research Manager (Project Manager) and a Senior Clinical Research Manager (Senior Project Manager) to work for our client a Global Pharmaceutical company in the Netherlands. The role is initially a 6 month contract which maybe extended.  Our client is ideally looking for candidates to work 5 days a week office based but may consider 1 or 2 days a week home based.

Job Primary Functions

• As member of a Project Team (EU or global), being responsible for strategic/ operational clinical development input into the Project Team and the global master plan.
• As a Clinical Lead, cooperate with Medical Project Team member/ Medical lead in providing departmental input into the Project Team.
• Operationally and strategically oversee one or more studies for one or more compounds whereby the respective European Study Manager(s) operationally report into the Sr. CRM.
• Keep line management and Project Team informed on progress of the study/studies, new developments or deviation of plans in such a way that pro-actively and timely can be anticipated on these developments.
• Other activities like keeping up to date with strategic operational science, visit relevant congresses and courses. Participation in a number of process and quality improvement working groups.
• Senior CRM can be appointed as European Study Manager.

Job Qualifications

• Must have international Clinical Project Management experience
• Experience in synopsis, protocol, and study report writing
• Proven ability to lead multifunctional international clinical teams
• Experience in setting up clinical development strategies
• People management experience
• Well-organized
• Fluent in English
• Academic background MSc /PhD (preferably bio/pharmaceutical sciences) or equivalent.
