Job Summary:

This dynamic medical communications organization seek a Medical Writer based in their Maidenhead offices.

Requirements:

The Company: Our cient is a dynamic medical communications organization employing 600 people globally. They now seek a Medical Writer based in their Maidenhead offices.
The position:
You will be supporting a large, multi-product, pan-tumour oncology, global publication planning account. The post will primarily involve delivery of a broad scope of publications and will offer the opportunity to travel. In addition, there will be some medical affairs work, and there may also be opportunities to participate in new business activity and pitches.
The company actively support career development and offer in-house training courses and an optional mentoring scheme. Due to the number of internal meetings, and the importance of in-house training, the post would ideally be office based.

Qualifications:
• Educated to degree level or above in a biomedical discipline with a good understanding of science/medicine
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in medical communications
• Familiar with good publication practice
• Experience in oncology/haematology is preferred
• Excellent teamwork/communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for personal workload
• Good attention to detail
• Highly organized/ability to multitask and prioritize
• IT skills (including Word, PowerPoint)
Experienced Medical Writers within industry, or candidates with promotional and/or technical writing skills, would also be considered.

The company strongly believe in training and development and once the successful candidate has demonstrated their ability they could find themselves taking on responsibility and client contact much quicker than within other agencies.
