An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Resourcing Manager to join our Clinical Research Organisation (CRO), Quanticate. Working from our Hitchin or Manchester office, you will ensure Quanticate meets short and long term business objectives by managing resources effectively across our sites. Liaising with the Quanticate director you will assess the technical and budgeted requirements of each project, identifying the roles, locations and duration of the resources required, and address any other resource demands. The Client Resourcing Manager is key in supporting both the Resourcing function and wider business needs to ensure continued business success.

The Opportunity

Your responsibilities will be to focus on delivering the following Quanticate balanced scorecard objectives:

  • Excel at managing resources globally
  • Ensure our resources are utilised fully and effectively

This will be achieved by fulfilling the following objectives

  • Plan and provide management of the allocation of resource
  • Liaise with Heads of Functions (and any other resource demand roles) to document short and long term project requirements and maintain a high level plan of the programme of deliverables across client projects
  • Assess the technical and budgeted requirements of each project to identify the roles, locations and duration of the resources required at the project level
  • Maintain the matrix of competencies and roles for each statistician and programmer
  • Maintain the matrix of resource deployment for each statistician and programmer
  • Assist in the allocation of resource for new or changing project requirements’
  • Maintaining SOP compliance (including Statistics)
  • Provide line management of assigned personnel
  • Provide regular updates to internal staff members
  • Work closely with line manager to review objectives, progress and development

And optimising current and new procedures:

  • Assessing suitable PM tools for Quanticate’s resourcing needs
  • Implement new/existing systems

In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor degree and experience in application administration/finance in a project environment

In order to be successful in this role, it is anticipated that the job holder will have at least 6 years experience within a suitable sector. 

  • Ambitious to develop personal management and planning skills
  • High level of customer care
  • Demonstrate independence and self-motivation
  • Good PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Proven organisational and project management skills
  • Proven ability to lead projects and manage staff
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability in client relation management
  • Experience using MSP (Microsoft Project)
