Job Summary:

Support the management and training of existing and new systems within Global Clinical Development (GCD). In addition, the role includes activities related to the testing, and implementation of new system(s), plus activities related to the development and maintenance of existing systems, e.g., incorporating recommendations from users, supporting Data Quality check and contributing to improving system(s).

Purpose:

Support the management and training of existing and new systems within Global Clinical Development (GCD). In addition, the role includes activities related to the testing, and implementation of new system(s), plus activities related to the development and maintenance of existing systems, e.g., incorporating recommendations from users, supporting Data Quality check and contributing to improving system(s).

 

Main Responsibilities:

 System training

   (for internal personnel, regional personnel and other departments, as required):

  • Develops and write training material (e.g., training manuals, storyboards, helpful hints, Navigation Sheets)
  • Schedules deliver, and tracks training globally
  • Creates training test scenarios for users and approve tests
  • Collects feedback on training, and develop and implement improvement ideas for user training
  • Coordinates the global training program
  • Prioritizes user training issues and provides guidance to other team members
  • Acts as the system 'expert', including mentoring of other team members
  • Assumes responsibilities for new projects, serving as project manager from a business perspective

 

  Systems project management

  • Contributes to clinical systems-related projects
  • Interacts with other functions as required regarding systems-related projects and day-to-day running of existing clinical systems
  • Supports existing systems on the business side, attend team/system board meetings
  • Supports system testing and validation
  • Serves as a project manager from the business side for new systems (counterpart of Clinical Development)
  • Coaches new team members

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree
  • Minimum of 2 years' training experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical research (e.g., regional monitoring / experience in clinical trials)
  • Experience in developing training documentation, eLearning modules
  • Ability to develop metrics based on KPIs
  • Solid understanding of the clinical development process, needs, and terminologies
  • Knowledge of GCP
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages advantageous)
  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
