Your main responsibilities will include the following;
? Enquiry service - To provide a reactive quality Medical Information service to both internal and external customers, recording comprehensive details to the Global Enquiry Management System. Operate in line with local SOP’s, Copyright Law, relevant Codes of Practice, the PIPA UK Guidelines on Standards for Medical Information Departments and Data Protection Legislation.
o To ensure that relevant product knowledge and search system skills are gained, applied and maintained.
o To prioritise, plan and organise work considering the customer and business needs.
o To assist in the development and maintenance of standard responses and procedures.
o To escalate important issues as they arise to management colleagues.
o To recruit expertise from Medical Affairs, EMEA Medical Information and other colleagues to facilitate enquiry conclusion and Standard Response management.
o To ensure adverse event and quality reporting, complying with Pharmacovigilance and Quality department procedures.
o To ensure ongoing audit/inspection readiness.
o Where appropriate, to provide input to business tenders.
o To work with the team to raise awareness of the Medical Information operation and processes with the broader UK and Ireland teams.
o To apply a basic awareness of business strategy to identify enquiry trends and emerging issues, raising awareness with appropriate colleagues. To assist in metrics management and reporting.
? To identify and realise synergies with Global and EMEA Medical Information as well as Country Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Quality and Operations functions eg innovation, shared learning, training, FCA management.
? To partner colleagues across the EMEA Medical Information team for agreed projects, shared learning, resource development and back-up enquiry management.
? To prioritise, plan and progress personal projects to refine service support for businesses and personal development, seeking guidance as required.
