Job Summary:

My client is a global CRO, providing a full drug development service to the bio-pharmaceutical industry. Services range from bio-analytical sciences through to peri-approval studies. They are currently looking to grow their Business Development operations across a number of locations throughout Europe.



You will be responsible for achieving and maintaining effective client relationships, whilst being able to create new business opportunities via identifying client needs and relationship building. Furthermore, you will have the ability to designg and deliver proposal defense presentations, alongside coordinating the response to RFP/I's. 


Prospecting for new opportunities with existing and prospective customer.
Build compelling solutions and operational strategies  that address client needs.
Prepare and organize sponsor presentations.
Develop account strategies and expand through accounts.
Establish and maintain an excellent rapport with future and current clientele.
Collect critical information for proposal preparation.
Understand the proposal process and provide positive input.
Negotiate and close sales opportunities.
Monitor and track competitor CRO Activities.
Plan and attend major industrial events and trade shows.
Ability to travel extensively.


Ability to work independently and under pressure without supervision.
Excellent communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
Good organizational skills; ability to prioritize, delegate, and evaluate work.
Strong, and effective presentation skills; ability to convincingly present features and benefits of service to clients.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be fluent in German.
