Job Summary:

A well known and exciting international organisation is actively looking for a Senior GCP Audit professional to join their growing team, based in the UK. This position will be mainly focused on UK Audits, with some sporadic travel abroad. You will be conducting Investigator Site Audits, as well as others across GCP Quality. The company are going through a very exciting time in terms of their progression, and an opportunity such as this will create the potential for Serious career growth.


Job Description

We are looking for professional qualified and enthusiastic candidates to take up a full-time position of a Quality Assurance/GCP Auditor. A person at this position is responsible for scheduling, planning, conduct, and reporting quality assurance audits of clinical trials and vendor qualification audits. They may be also required to participate in internal systems audits or internal audits of company locations.

The position is a full-time one, and applicants are welcome who can work in the office in the South East, or be home-based anywhere else in the UK.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Communication line for project teams with regard to internal study audits, including onsite, in-house, and clinical trials database audits
  • Communication with vendors with regard to vendor qualification audits
  • Communication with company departments and operational offices with regard to internal systems and locations audits

Planning and Scheduling Audits

  • Primary responsibility for the preparation, conduct and reporting of quality assurance study audits, and vendor qualification audits
  • Shared responsibility for the preparation for, conduct, and reporting of internal systems and locations audits

Personnel Development

  • Training of Quality & Operations staff in quality management matters


Desired Skills and Experience

  • BS/BA degree required
  • MD or PharmD is a plus
  • Previous experience with clinical site and vendor audits
  • 3+ years experience in clinical research, including 2 years in quality assurance
  • Effective communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform multi-task activities
  • Excellent computer skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel
