We are seeking a Business Analyst - Forecasting Manager to join our team based here in Europe, in our offices in Paris or Barcelona. Reporting to the head of BDM Operations, the Capacity Planning Manager is responsible for managing and analyzing the data related to the volume of activity of our BDM services team to allow the BDM managers to optimize the capacity and profitability of their teams
We are seeking a Business Analyst - Forecasting Manager to join our team based here in Europe, in our offices in Paris or Barcelona.
Reporting to the head of BDM Operations, the Capacity Planning Manager is responsible for managing and analyzing the data related to the volume of activity of our BDM services team to allow the BDM managers to optimize the capacity and profitability of their teams:
1-build and maintain data on ongoing/signed contracts and pending opportunities:
FTE demand projected per function over time
Revenue projected per function over time
Expense projected per function over time
2-build and maintain related historical databases of actuals and past forecasts.
3-build, maintain and refine a forecasting model (in collaboration with internal statisticians) allowing the BDM teams to optimally adjust their FTE-capacity over time.
4-build and maintain a database of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the BDM business
5-simulate the impact of different resourcing models on the BDM P&L.
6-collaborate with the Business Proposals team to monitor and optimize algorithms of the standard budget grid.
The role requires to collaborate efficiently with various internal functions (Finance, Sales, etc).
Solid programming skills are required to build, maintain and analyze databases: solid knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access or other SQL based system, SAS or R.
Knowledge of the statistical methods applicable to capacity planning and forecasting.
Previous experience in a similar role preferred, involving expertise in demand planning, capacity planning.
Strong communication and leadership skills (English required).
Education: MSc degree required.
Job location: preferably in France or Barcelona.
