Based in Cambridge, Acurian are looking for an Associate Director of Site Enrolment Optimisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional with a solid track record in the leadership and management of site professionals.   Acquired by PPD in 2013, Acurian is the leading provider of patient enrolment solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry. Their comprehensive solutions cover the full spectrum of services needed to recruit, enrol and retain patients for clinical trials. Recently formed, the Site Enrolment Optimisation EMEA team is responsible for supporting Acurian’s OUS enrolment and retention projects by working directly with research sites in the supported countries, ensuring we achieve recruitment and acquisition goals. We are rapidly expanding and are now seeking an experienced professional to drive our patient referral and site enrolment optimisation.   Responsibilities

  • To have a presence across Europe whereby you will champion priorities and continuous improvement amongst your team
  • Direct team performance at a high level, in line with quarterly goals regarding referral conversion rates
  • Manage and lead staff, including their professional development, goal setting, coaching and mentoring
  • To establish goals and expectations with EMEA site services and Site Enrolment Optimisation field teams, in line with corporate and project objectives
  • Review and approve site coverage; reports team progress towards meeting goals and expectations

Qualifications

Do you have what it takes?
  • The ability to spend around 60% of your working year travelling, most notably within Europe although visits to the US and Africa may be required
  • You are an experienced leader with experience of managing international home based teams
  • You are experienced in coaching
  • You demonstrate relationship based sales skills and communicate at a high level
  • The experience to manage both local and remote teams   Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic or vocational qualification
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience of field relationship based sales or CRA management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience with proven management and leadership skills
