This role is a Senior management position over programming managers and programming staff within the Department of Biostatistics.
You will coordinate the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and Working Practice Documents, as well as interact extensively with a multi-disciplinary senior management team to identify critical needs and develop strategic initiatives.

This position contributes directly to revenue through performing statistical analyses and consultation on study protocols, marketing and generation of proposals, and supervising Programming staff.

The new Associate Director will be responsible for:

Overseeing multiple projects and 10-40 billable programming positions.
Contributing directly to the company's revenue by aiding  milestone deliverables for Data Management and Biostatistics.
Developing existing staff, works on recruiting new staff, and retaining existing staff.
Monitor staff assignments, evaluating and shifting priorities and assignments to
meet timelines and deliver high quality work. Provide feedback to management when timeline or resourcing constraints develop

The successful candidate will have vast experience in the Programming genre, coupled with a MA/MS in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or a related field, as well has prior Supervisory experience

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience 
  • Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in statistics, or related field. BSc qualifications will be considered with good relevant  industry and statistical experience. 
  • Significant statistics and clinical research or related experience.
  • Supervisory experience required.

You should be able to demonstrate the ability to lead in a multi-disciplinary team setting and show evidence of strong management skills through the management of multiple projects and staff members.
