We have been instructed to recruit for a dynamic and market leading medical devices company who have a range of products within the Consumables market. If you are looking to work in an innovative and tenacious environment as a Clinical Sales Specialist, then this position may be for you.

Essential Requirements: 
Nursing or related qualification - A clinical background will be an advantage.
Educated to degree level 
ENB 998 Training and Assessment in Clinical Practice or equivalent would be desirable
At least 3 years working within the NHS healthcare sales environment
Proven track record of clinical success in the private medical or NHS environment.
Proven track record in sales ideally gained within the Consumables arena
Ability to work autonomously, and be capable of independently generating, prioritising and handling own work
Ability to adapt business style to build effective customer rapport and relationships
Good understanding of project management
Strong understanding and knowledge of current procurement structures, process and practices, to actively engage procurement.
Understanding of health policy and the implications for product sales
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Deliver quarterly and annual territory targets in line with the UK budget target for the financial year. (Revenue, profit and volume)
Identify, qualify and execute new business opportunities to support product segmentation and product adoption.
Support existing and new business growth through the company’s strategic distributor partners and direct to market channels.
Understand local market pricing/product requirements and competitor commercial approach to inform the UK management team.
Prioritise and manage accounts using Key Account Management methodologies.
Through a consultative sales approach, understand customer requirements & drivers to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships, positioning our client as the partner of choice.
Build business relationships with relevant key opinion leaders.
Build credibility within the clinical environment and provide safety-focused clinical support.
Build credibility with customers through the development and delivery of effective and efficient protocols/ plans for product evaluations and conversions.
Conduct and manage product evaluations, training and implementation process’ as part of the account conversion process.
Work with Global Clinical Lead to update the clinical/product database with relevant articles, reports and national guidelines
Build strong relationships with strategic clinical Key Opinion Leaders in order to develop and maintain reference sites.
Undertake market research to establish clinical trends, customer requirements for products in line with Global Clinical information requirements.
Proactively develop and implement business plans for sustainable, long-term sales success in key accounts. Review and update this plan in line with company strategy.
Develop efficient and effective call planning to maximise use of time.
Use the agreed business reporting tools and comply with expected standards
Identify and engage with external customer stakeholders to map and utilise decision-making groups to deliver the sales outcomes required.
