Title: Pharmaceutical Development Analyst


Rate: up to £28K

Location: North East


The role will include:

  • Provide analytical support to Pharmaceutical Development including but not limited to analysis of raw materials, in process control samples and finished product.
  • Ensuring that data integrity is maintained throughout analytical processes.
  • Develop and validate new analytical methodologies to support Pharmaceutical Development activities in compliance with cGXP, Project Plans, Company Procedures and approved protocols.
  • Writing analytical validation/transfer protocols and subsequent reports in line with company procedures and ICH guidelines.
  • Write and review Standard Operating Procedures for the Quality System when required. 


The ideal candidate should have:

A degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline is essential.

Technical Knowledge:

•               Experience of HPLC, GC, general wet chemistry techniques is essential.

•               Experience of analytical method development and validation desirable.

•               Proven experience within the pharmaceutical environment (understanding of cGXP, ICH and Pharmacopoeia’s).

•               Must have good data analysis skills.
