This is an opportunity to work for a growing pharmaceutical company in a drug safety role covering the breath of the organisation"e;s product development portfolio, from a number of products at Phase I through to IV focussing on Neurology/Pain and Oncology.
A role with both operational and strategic responsibilities, you will work in a hands on role in a fast-paced and challenging cross functional team. The main aspects of this role include;
*Support the QPPV for medical safety matters
*Medical evaluation of individual case reports, including causality assessment and MedDRA coding
* Involvement with Signal detection and working cross functionally with Medical affairs
*Risk management activities, report writing and benefit risk analysis (pre- & post marketing), responses to safety questions and aggregate report medical review
* Qualified medic
* Post-qualification clinical experience in the NHS or a similar setting
* Significant experience in a drug safety/pharmacovigilance role in pharmaceutical medicine
* Drug Safety experience of working ideally across all phases of clinical development Phase I - IV
*Currently doing or completed the Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine
