Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity within a forward thinking blue chip pharmaceutical company who have an extensive product range within the Diabetes market. This exciting role will be working as a Regional Account Manager across Scotland. This is a very senior strategic position, both setting the direction for the team but also involving some high level customer facing work.

We are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity within a forward thinking blue chip pharmaceutical company who have an extensive product range within the Diabetes market. This exciting role will be working as a Regional Account Manager across Scotland. This is a very senior strategic position, both setting the direction for the team but also involving some high level customer facing work.

Essential Requirements: 
You must be able to demonstrate a successful track-record of selling at senior level within the NHS in the UK.
Must have evidence based track record with Diabetes sales success in recent year in Scotland through an account management led process.
Must have proven track record with guideline and pathway development in Diabetes, could also be looking at formulary positioning and placement.
Must have worked on SMC submissions and be able to recommend on consultation from guideline bodies such as SIGN.
Be creative with Budget Impact Models and value propositions – supporting and working with our Payer Evidence team.
With changes in Scotland NHS this April need to have got under the skin of the IJBs and show leadership across the region with their knowledge to establish credibility quickly.
You will have excellent stake-holder influencing and relationship-building skills, as well as be able to develop and maintain high levels of therapeutic and NHS knowledge.
You will be a competitive and motivated individual, possessing strong communication skills and a keen team work ethic.
You must also be confident in working in a matrix-management environment.
You should have a full driving licence and be eligible for employment in the UK

Role Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the delivery of sales to the UK Sales & Marketing business unit within a defined set of Key Regional Accounts.
Reporting directly into the Head of Regional Business, you will achieve this by effectively developing and handling specific complex accounts in order to build productive and meaningful working partnerships.
This includes taking responsibility for producing, coordinating & communicating sales programmes and account plans with the ultimate objective of driving incremental sales & margin through your key account client base.
The role also involves cultivating relationships with key internal and external stake-holders to fully realise business opportunities.
