Senior Scientist, Downstream Purification
We have an exciting opportunity available as a Senior Scientist at a growing specialist Contract Manufacturing Organisation based in Sweden. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Downstream Scientist to enter into an important senior position.
Working directly with customers in a strong collaboration environment advising them utilising experience in downstream expertise, large scale bioprocess equipment and FDA regulations.
Providing expert advice to sales department with your understanding or market trends.
Identification of continuous improvement opportunities in bio-manufacturing processes, designing and implementing changes where appropriate.
Leadership in expert area, driving projects forward.
Designing, Developing and Delivering training for customers and colleagues as an expert in your field.
Conducting independent scientific application work on key projects in the areas of Monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, recombinant proteins, plasma fractionation etc.
Life science degree (Ideally PHD or Masters)
Industry experience in bioprocess development, scale-up, tech transfer, manufacturing, GMP regulation, R&D and/or process development experience. With a preference for strong experience within Downstream processing of biomolecules (filtration, downstream, technology transfer, validation, process development, biomanufacturing, continuous processing)
