Senior Medical Information Officer – Experience with ABPI copy approval is a MUST. It is planned for this opportunity to move into a Scientific Adviser position in the future.
Provide support regarding all aspects of Medical Affairs and Medical Information and in particular the review and approval of educational, promotional and company material.
Direct contact with internal and external customers which are likely to be other healthcare professionals, internal customers and consumers of products. You will ensure that all information provided conforms to the ABPI Code of Practice. Review material according to SOPs, company standards and expectations and requirements of the ABPI Code of Practice.
This opportunity involves both working as part of a team and individual aspects of project work, with a view to supporting Medical Affairs activity across the one of the leading brands. It will involve training others in aspects of Medical Affairs and the compliance with protocols and practices as well as assisting the Medical Information Manager, Head of Medical Affairs and Medical Director in their roles in the review and approval of educational, promotional and company material.
A strong scientific background and at least a BSc (or similar) in pharmacy and who is a UK registered pharmacist.
2 - 3 years' Medical Information/Medical Affairs experience gained in a related environment such as health science, NHS or clinical trials.
Previous experience of the review of promotional and educational material in line with the ABPI Code of Practice is needed.
