We have been instructed to recruit within the Oncology market as a Market Development Manager, then this position may be for you. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Key Account Managers, Healthcare Partnership Managers and colleagues from other functions to develop and implement solutions to develop the market and improve patient outcomes
We have been instructed to recruit for a dynamic and market leading Pharmaceutical company who have a range of products within the Oncology market. If you are looking to work in an innovative and tenacious environment as a Market Development Manager, then this position may be for you. This is a newly created role for initially an 18-month contract with the view to be extended. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Key Account Managers, Healthcare Partnership Managers and colleagues from other functions to develop and implement solutions to develop the market and improve patient outcomes.
Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
Min 5 years marketing and/ or Pharmaceutical sales experience or 5 years of managerial experience in an NHS role.
Experience in service development/ service re-design projects is essential.
Track record in strategic planning & project management.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good intellectual ability both numerically and verbally.
Proven ability to work independently and demonstrate pro-activity.
Ability to manage the demands of a portfolio of products
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Develop framework to quantify market growth opportunities in the oncology business.
Develop and implement solutions to streamline patient pathways and develop projects to improve service capacity in nuclear medicine/oncology hubs to ensure patient throughput and outcomes are maximised.
Manage & drive implementation of strategic projects to maximise patient outcomes, e.g. market development models.
Promote effective cross functional teamwork with sales, marketing, medical, commercial, market access and government affairs colleagues.
Ensure adherence to ABPI code of practice, market research code of practice, regulatory directives and the programme for legal compliance and corporate responsibility.
