Role: HR Administrator

Contract: Permanent

Location: Wokingham, UK (office based)

We take on the most challenging areas of study, with a special focus on unmet needs in such areas as analgesia, CNS, rare diseases, medical device and diagnostics, and paediatric research. We are looking to recruit a Human Resources Administrator to provide the Organization with a first-class, proactive HR administration service by ensuring business needs are responded to in an effective and timely manner. 

This role is to be office based in Wokingham, UK. This is a permanent position.

You will be accountable for:

Compensation and Benefits Administration:

  • Ensure that Benefit providers are informed of all employee changes (e.g. starters, leavers)
  • Support annual salary survey activities as required

Data security and HR Records

  • Maintain personnel files, HR databases and data input on other business processes
  • Ensure compliance of all International HR records to legal and Best Practice standards

Employee Relations

  • Support any legal issues and preparation for cases as required

HR Administration

  • Prepare all new starter paperwork, including background checks with 3rd party supplier
  • Manage exit interviews and analyze feedback process
  • Proactively suggest new methods of managing administration functions


  • Support the payroll input collection for European payrolls, starters, leavers & changes with the HRBP
  • Track part time holidays for payroll purposes as required
  • Support any audits on the payroll as required

HR Databases

  • Keep the European HR databases (spreadsheet check sheets and other manual systems) up to date with starters, leavers and changes
  • Ensure that all necessary departments are advised of starters, leavers and changes in a timely manner via RCAT
  • Manage local key metrics as required

Performance Management, Reward and Recognition

  • Administer reward and recognition programs as required
  • Ensure HR receive copies of annual/mid year performance reviews and track

Relocation and Expatriate Short/long term assignments

  • Coordinate and work with the appropriate bodies to obtain necessary work permits and diarize for renewals as required

Premier Academy

  • Support the Premier Academy with administration support and enquiries

You'll need this to be considered: 

  • Previous work experience in European HR in administration
  • Proficient MS Office, especially in Word and Excel
  • Understanding of working with databases
  • Must have worked in customer facing role
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Business focused with commercial understanding with a basic understanding of costs
  • Able to cope with changing priorities and be able to deliver in a dynamic environment in order to provide efficient service to the organization
  • Positive attitude, “can do” attitude
  • Eager to learn and to develop
