Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Key Account Manager within the Oncology market. This role will be working nationally with an exciting new product launch.

Requirements:

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Key Account Manager within the Oncology market. This role will be working nationally with an exciting new product launch. 

Essential Requirements: 
Qualified to degree level, preferably in Life Sciences.
Previous credible level of hospital sales experience in the Oncology area with a good working knowledge of hospital and Cancer service approval processes and protocol development.
Demonstrable key account management ability.
A proven track record in commercialising products. 
Ability to take an account management approach to managing territory business.
Ability to manage the demands of a portfolio of products
ABPI qualified. 
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Promotion (within the licensed setting) to relevant healthcare professionals (both in NHS and private healthcare settings) through face to face and group meetings. These are likely to include hospital doctors, pharmacists and nurses among others.
Ensuring that the product is successfully listed on the relevant formularies and protocols at hospital and cancer network level. This requires the ability to successfully influence clinical managers and budget holders as well as working in close liaison with the market access team to be equipped with the appropriate tools to ensure funding is made available.
Liaison with marketing, medical, sales manager and market access team to ensure that specific needs of customers and accounts are best met. This will mean giving detailed feedback and setting up contacts for members of the wider BU.
Positively influence Key Opinion Leaders at a local, regional and national level. This will require liaison with the marketing and medical teams.
Build strong and lasting relationships with all relevant customers and understand and utilise influence amongst these customers.
Accompanying customers to national and international oncology meetings where assistance with the product Exhibition Stand will be needed.
Attendance at sales and marketing meetings to receive briefings and give feedback to help develop the marketing campaign.
Accurate recording of customer contacts using the CRM system. Achievement of all relevant administration standards and regular feedback on the implementation of the sales & marketing strategy.
Maintain a high level of disease area, product, NHS and customer knowledge at all times
