Job Summary:

We are looking for a Calibration Technician on behalf of a medical device company in Galway.


A growing medical device company in Galway City are now looking for a Calibration Technician to join their team. 

In this role, you will:

Maintain and improve the calibration and maintenance systems on site.
Maintain documentation as per GMP standards
Carry out on time completion of all in house calibrations and liaise with external services to monitor off site calibrations.
Organised planned calibration, in conjuction with production team, to minimize downtime.
Be responsible for the repair or replacement of defective equipment
Analyse performance data, generate reports and ensure effectiveness of calibration systems at all times.
Liaise with validation team on new process introductions.

For this role, you will need:

A Diploma in a related discipline.
2 years' experience in a highly regulated Calibration Department
Computer literate: knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows
Strong knowledge and interest in Calibration Systems
