Job Description SummaryThe Head of Quality Assurance Operations will develop the QA capabilities of Lonza Biologics in Slough, in the pursuit of flawless execution to support the goal of a long-term sustainable competitive advantage for the organisation.

 

Job Description
  • Crafting, aligning and executing the Quality and Compliance strategy to deliver strategic business objectives.
  • Engaging with customers as the face of Quality Assurance to align customer needs with operational execution.
  • Actively leading the governance of site GMP compliance to support a compliant and productive workplace.
  • Management and deployment of Quality Assurance resources to ensure both effective operational performance and maintain appropriate standards of cGMP compliance.
  • Leading the preparation, execution and follow through of Regulatory and Customer Inspections.
  • Working in collaboration with global sites to harmonize quality standards.
  • Operating as a key member of the leadership team to establish collective priorities and remove barriers to progress.
  • Maintaining effective end-to-end process control mechanisms and performance metrics to support breakthrough performance in GMP compliance, quality, cost and service.
  • Coaching, mentoring and training to increase the capability of the site to respond to problems and improve processes.
  • Controlling department costs in line with agreed budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities To lead, coach and inspire individuals and teams to set and achieve breakthrough performance goals. To develop and mentor individuals for future leadership roles and succession planning.
