As Outcomes Measurement Specialist, you’ll streamline the use of clinical outcomes assessments (COAs) across the organisation through the development and sharing of best practices and leading initiatives to implement strategies and operational standards. With the aim of incorporating patient insights in data-driven decisions, you’ll expertly advise on COA strategy delivery in clinical trials and drive global initiatives to deliver best practices and process improvement, providing the appropriate support to working groups.

Using targeted timeframes and foreseeing the impact of other influences, you’ll plan to achieve steady progress, seeking continuous improvement as initiatives unfold. Undertaking detailed analysis of current systems, tools and processes, proactively identifying the opportunity to enhance methodologies, processes and resources will be crucial to this role. Gaining as broad a possible understanding of the wider organisation and cross functional requirements, the activities and initiatives that you implement will have a positive impact on multiple business and clinical areas.

With a degree in a scientific field or similar equivalent, you’ll have a track record of  managing internal or external customers  in an industry-related field (e.g. a vendor consulting)and the ablity to influence and negotiate effectively. You will have experience in COAs/ Outcomes Measurement / Outcomes Research, with design and delivery of eCOA studies being a major asset.


Comfortable working in a project team environment and with experience of implementing clinical outcomes assessment programs, you’ll be able to identify methods for improving the way in which data is gathered, shared and utilized in a large multi-functional organisation. Capable of presenting to senior colleagues and audiences, your communication skills and ability to achieve successful outcomes will ensure further high quality insights are included within clinical trials.
