Requirements:

> We are recruiting for a Technical Specialist to join the Technical Support / Engineering Team within the Regional Customer Support Centre in the Technical services department.  The Regional Customer Support Centre provides Technical and Applications support for Laboratories in the UK, Ireland, the Nordic countries, and South Africa.   This role in Technical services is to provide technical support for products from HIVD for Swedish customers and so fluent Swedish verbal and written skills are essential.   Technical Services offers a variety of support activities including technical product management, installations, planned maintenance, system modifications, technical troubleshooting and customer training.   Working as part of a team you will be motivated by exceeding customer expectations, taking initiative and ownership of your work. You will be capable of working with minimum supervision whilst managing your time effectively.   In addition, the following skills/experience will be desirable:

  • Familiarity with Roche products and instrumentation, in particular experience of Roche Clinical Chemistry and Immuno-assay analysers (cobas 4000, cobas 6000, cobas 8000) or pre and post analytics instruments (PVT, MPA, cobas 8100).
