A global pharmaceutical firm seeking a Medical Writer. Turning over approximately £250million, our client can offer the benefits of an established business, while maintaining a team orientated, progressive environment where you will be encouraged to develop your skill set and rewarded for your achievements.
*Write assigned documents within pre-defined review and approval timelines and to the highest quality in terms of content, clarity, and accuracy, adhering to ICH guidelines and styles and processes
*Produce Medical Writing documents such as CSRs and IBs either directly or by managing CROs
*Work with the Senior Administrator, Medical Writing and Data Management, to put confidentiality agreements and contracts in place with external service providers
*Act as a conduit between external document authors and reviewers and approvers, ensuring the seamless transition of documents between service providers and the business
*Facilitate process improvement to support medical writing projects and writes forms, SOPs and WPs to support these processes
*A minimum of 5 years medical writing experience within the pharmaceutical industry or in an agency environment
*Sound knowledge of ICH/GCP and the EU Clinical Trial Directive
*Experience of writing all document types, to support Phase I to IV clinical studies, as well as for submission to Regulatory Authorities for licence maintenance activities
*Experience in the management of external service providers for medical writing tasks would be an asset
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Good project management and organisational skills
*Proficient in relevant computer software
*Must hold a valid passport enabling business travel throughout Europe, US/Canada and rest of world. If holder of a non-European passport, must have a valid working permit and the appropriate leave to remain in the UK.
