Are you the one in a million Oncology Pharma Medic who will one day be a CMO?  Then this is a perfect job for you.

Location:  Scotland (One hour South of Edinburgh) or Princeton New Jersey

You know you are special.  You understand the latest Oncology science at it deepest level.  It comes easily. But, unlike many others, you don’t stop there.

You use science in design and service of outcome by contributing to great studies from Phase I - III.  Your studies are clever, on-time and within budget.  Where others stop at obstacles you find work-arounds.  Your capabilities go even further.   You understand the importance of Key Opinion Leaders and actively seek to interact at a peer to peer level in the exchange of knowledge and ideas.  You have a knack, a flair with this vital constituency and you earn their respect and admiration.  Unlike others, you get that you are in a business.  No one would ever accuse you of being in a silo.  You view the Commercial organisation as a vital part in the continuum and you spend time getting to know your colleagues across the business listening and understand their needs.  Because you leave your hubris at the door, you are seen as a team player, someone who will roll their sleeves up and muck in.  You lead by example and as a total package you see yourself as a CMO one day.  You just need more exposure, and chance to grow and to be mentored by the best.

Consider joining Kyowa Kirin’s Medical Science A-Team.  With an enviable pipeline, our patients rely on us to realise our great pipeline potential into great medicines.

In this role you will be responsible for the overall robustness of study data. You will provide medical and therapeutic expertise into all areas of the development process.  You’ll interact with an international team and study site personnel on protocol-related medical issues and will work to resolve these issues.  In addition, you’ll be the main link with Key Opinion Leaders from across the globe presenting, answering questions and supporting your clinical colleagues. You may also lead and mentor others helping to grow talent for the future.

With a great deal of autonomy, mentorship and an amazing pipeline this role offers you the ability to develop yourself and an unprecedented opportunity to shape the future of immune-oncology medicines of the future.

In addition to the above, you’ll be a medical doctor with at least 5 years’ experience.  You’ll have successful experiences in Oncology Pharma (R&D), preferably in the area of immuno-Oncology where you will have developed an in-depth understanding of scientific methodology and clinical research based on scientific medical principles. An excellent communicator in English in presenting and writing, you’ll have experience working with KOLs.  This role will require you to travel internationally.
