Director level opportunity within a well-established London based Consultancy


I am working in partnership with a well-established Consultancy based in London. They are seeking a Director to join their team to manage projects with their clients based in Switzerland. This role is ideal for Senior Consultants who are seeking a development opportunity. My client is very well-known within their field for having an open and diverse working environment, they focus on ensuring that their staff are appreciated and encourage a good work-life balance. 

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver external sales targets for European market access business

  • Key client development
  • Proposal generation, writing and conversion

Provide senior team input

  • Strategy development
  •  MA up-scaling initiatives
  • Operational support
  • Mentoring more junior team members
  • Recruitment, development, coaching and retention

Lead teams of Consultants and analysts in the high quality and successful delivery of projects in areas of:

  • Asset due diligence & forecastingCurrent & future landscape assessment
  • Stakeholder archetyping & segmentation
  • Evidence generation (outcomes & trial design) planning
  • Launch-to-LOE pricing & access assessment
  • Dossier development and testing
  • Value message/story development & testing
  • Negotiation & contracting strategy
  •  Payer and multi-stakeholder research
  •  Qualitative and quantitative programmes.

Develop commercial strategy and new business generation opportunities:

  • Conduct competitor intelligence, benchmarking and service provision analyses 
  • Identify opportunities and take ownership for specific client targets (with support)
  • Undertake a proactive approach to business development activities - follow up leads and participate in new business meetings
  • Develop client relationships to generate opportunities for own and other business units e.g. Disease Atlas
  • Produce complete proposal documents and presentations
  •  Lead collaborative bid teams across market access and health teams in other areas (geographies or expertise ie market research/Disease Atlas)

Execute projects to a client ready standard:

  •  Follow standard procedures to undertake secondary research; utilise all available data sources; make recommendations for new sources; gather and analyse data; identify and design appropriate methods of research
  • Manage and play and active role in payer and multi-stakeholder primary research programmes
  • Programme design and execution
  • Deliver projects in a timely manner, with the utmost attention to detail, quality and value
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project team members throughout the course of the project, managing expectations accordingly
  • Provide expert content knowledge on global healthcare systems, as well as disease-specific and technology-specific areas
  • Proactively manage own and other’s time across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Manage input from junior colleagues and associates to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
  • Ensure project profitability
  • Encourage collaborative working across all market access business units
