This exciting role will be working as a Business Development Specialist across the South East of England incorporating postcodes BN, CT, GU, ME, PO, RG, RH, SO, TN, TW, SW, SM, SE, BR, CR & DA. In this role, you will need to increase awareness, win sales and educate and implement our client’s products and package into the Optics/Ophthalmology marketplace.
Evolve Selection are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity within a forward thinking company who have an extensive product range within the Ophthalmology market. This exciting role will be working as a Business Development Specialist across the South East of England incorporating postcodes BN, CT, GU, ME, PO, RG, RH, SO, TN, TW, SW, SM, SE, BR, CR & DA. In this role, you will need to increase awareness, win sales and educate and implement our client’s products and package into the Optics/ Ophthalmology marketplace.
Proven track record in sales (Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical) with knowledge of the territory.
Understanding of sales data – skills to interpret sales trends, handle collection, collation and use of data to assist in account and territory analysis/planning.
Understands and interprets substantial clinical information in a way that you will be comfortable business community
Ability to work autonomously, and be capable of independently generating, prioritising and handling own work
A proven track record in commercialising products.
Ability to manage the demands of a portfolio of products and adapt the selling approach accordingly
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Demonstrate an understanding of all segments of the business or an aptitude to learn all these different areas. The selling approach for each segment will be very different and the candidate will need to be able to adapt to the situation.
Support practices for the demo and training days instilling confidence in the product, the results and the company.
Ensure that the product and the greater range become a part of the dry eye/surgery routine at the place of work.
Support the others internally in training and demo days. (Taking their demos from them or going with them).
Demonstrate the ability to understand and interpret substantial clinical information in a way that you will be comfortable discussing this with customers from optometrist to ophthalmologist.
Possess the skills to make the product and the package relevant to the HCP that you are working with.
Work with management on building the case studies, audits and study portfolio for this product.
