We are looking for a Field Clinical Specialist to work in Neuromodulation on a national basis. Our client is looking for dynamic and self-motivated individuals who have the desire to develop a long-term career within their business. The role requires the candidate to become a “Trusted Advisor” within the operating room since either the salesperson or an FCS (Field Clinical Specialist/Support) presence is essential at all procedures to give technical assistance during the procedure.
Our client is a global, marketing leading Medical Tech organisation, who have a unique opportunity to join an already established team in the Neuromodulation therapy area. The role will be working as a Field Clinical Specialist on a national basis. Must be technically focused
Experience working in operating theatres is highly advantageous
Outstanding communication skills are crucial
Ability to converse effectively, empathise and understand patients’ needs pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively
A talent to understand the key difference when conversing with a patient vs selling/discussing technical details with a customer is fundamental in this role
Must be confident working with both patients and medical staff
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Commercial Support: Under general supervision, serve as a primary resource for clinical support consisting of tackling a variety of issues relating to troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.
Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using appropriate formats and platforms (e.g., slides, manuals) to keep all customers abreast of the latest products.
Attend unit implants in operating theatres of hospital accounts and attends patient follow-up to assure customer and patient success with the implanted products.
Team up with Sales Rep to meet existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
Keep on developing business relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences).
Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical, research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
On-call duties may extend beyond the “normal” working week.
