Our client, a leading organisation based in Dublin, now have a permanent vacancy for a Quality Assurance Officer to join their team.

Reporting to the Quality Compliance Manager this role requires close communication with in house groups - Supply Chain, Regulatory Compliance, Laboratory Services, R &D, Vendors and external suppliers such as Toll Manufacturers. 

Strong communication and organisational skills are key, as well as attention to detail and the focus to get the job done in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. 

You will be responsible for: 
• Assisting in Maintaining ISO 9001 Accreditation with the team. 
• Management of Document Control System on a continuous basis.
• Building and managing Databases to Support Quality System. 
• Preparing of Quality Documents for Approval. 
• Ensuring Customer Happiness and resolving Customer Complaint Procedures. 
• Administering the Change Control System regularly. 
• Running Non – Conformance and CAPA System. 
• Supporting Internal and External Audit Schedules and follow up on assigned actions. 
• Participating in internal audits. 
• Preparing Training Files supporting Training requirements for other team members. 
• Preparing and administering  Product Files and Specifications 
• Handling of Vendor Files and Vendor Evaluation by Questionnaire. 
• Review of Vendor and Toller Certificates of Analysis against Internal Specifications. 
• Preparing documentation for approval of Active Ingredients and Product Batch Release. 
• Trending of Product Quality Data. 
• Ensuring ISO Standard Operating Procedures are met. 
• Driving Continuous Improvement of existing Quality Systems. 

Your Experience:
• A BSc in a related discipline (Chemistry , Analytical Science Desirable ) 
• Minimum of three years’ experience in chemical, agrochemical, pharmaceutical or medical device industry. 
• Experience of working with at least one Quality Management System (e.g. ISO, GMP) 
• Keen eye for detail 
• Strong reporting skills (ability to summarise key aspects)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 
• Positive Communication Skills. 
• Strong Ability to prioritize to ensure all team deadlines met. 

• Previous experience in a Quality Related Role. 
• Experience of design or implementation of Quality Systems. 
• Project Management experience. 
• Experience in the area of root cause analysis. 
• Audit experience. 
• Some experience of electronic data management systems.
