Our global leading Pharma client is looking for an experienced KAM to join their award winning team.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the cardiovascular team for a CV Key Account Manager in South Wales and the South West. Joining a team of 7 other Lipid specialist KAMs and 2 specialist Pulmonary Hypertension KAMs.


The CV KAM is a critical and highly visible customer facing role. Focused on ensuring a positive market access environment, also working in Primary PCI centres along with networking key customers who influence the ACS lipid patient protocol. A crucial part of the role is to facilitate and embed implementation of the protocol and guidelines; including established appropriate positioning; with clinicians and prescribers in primary and secondary care

Key responsibilities

  • Access and engage key customers quickly and build relationships that quickly lead to action
  • Collaboration at the highest levels with internal and external stakeholders combined with tactical selling at Trust and Payer level.
  • To ensure positive market access and implementation of National guidance and technology appraisals in collaboration with area healthcare lead colleagues
  • Understanding local influencing networks is central to the success of this role and the KAM will be expected to maintain clear stakeholder maps and customer engagement plans. At the same time, they will be tasked with developing brand and protocol advocates, who are willing and able to influence local, regional and national opinion
  • Total accountability for developing strategic account plans at territory level, which increase the access and appropriate use of products. Individuals will be responsible for the full implementation of the plan, creating a localised value proposition which engages external customers to prioritise the care of at-risk lipid patients and implement NICE guidelines
  •  Develop exquisite insight into local business, environmental and customer needs, being able to reflect on these to propose win/win/win solutions
