Mary Tilston is recruiting for a Medical Information & Patient Safety Specialist to join a global, science-led biopharmaceutical business at their site based in Luton on a contract basis.
The main purpose of the role will be:
-To provide a high quality, comprehensive, technical and scientific information service for external and internal customers on the company's product range.
-Preparing and maintaining all reference documents relating to safety of assigned products.
-Providing knowledge and expertise to internal and external customers on all aspects of Patient Safety relating to UK activities.
-Participating in project work as directed by Medical Information and Patient Safety Manager.
Further responsibilities will include:
-To be responsible for the management of Product Quality complaints in line with local and global procedures and systems.
-To be responsible for understanding and working to all relevant procedural documents, legislation and applicable codes and maintain accurate and up to date personal training record.
-To ensure all appropriate reports are distributed to regulatory authorities, Ethics Committees and investigators within regulated timeframes.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
-Educated to degree level or above in life sciences or a related field with substantial previous experience within Medical Information or Pharmacovigilance.
-Experience of working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with external customer interaction.
-The ability to effectively influence and interact with cross-functional colleagues.
