This Opportunity Will Not Be Around For Long! Amazing Role With Exciting Future Prospects! email@example.com
Are you working for a big CRO looking to be a valued employee and make a real impact into a growing company? Are you a Senior Clinical Project Manager looking to take a step up in your career?
I'm working with a fast growing, niche CRO who focus their speciality around complex trials such as oncology and rare orphan disease. Due to the size of the company, they can offer the possibility to work more fluidly as there is less "red tape" around procedures than big corporate companies. They have doubled in size over the past 3 years due to a great Senior management team the fact they are a company that offers a tailored, bespoke service to their clients which has proved very successful and popular.
They are looking for a Senior level profile because they need someone who can hit the ground running and utilise their experience to make a positive impact into the team. This is a great role if you are looking for something exciting, challenging and unique. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Full project management responsibility (with minimal management support) for clinical studies according to (and/or Sponsor) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ICH-GCP and local regulations. Studies managed will usually be either "complex" or "non-complex" studies, with any number of participating countries or centres;
May act as overall manager of a global or complex study leading other PMs or Senior PMs as required;
May act as a PM for a proportion of a clinical study (assigned territories or designated PM tasks)
Ensures clinical trials are conducted such that subjects' rights, safety and wellbeing are protected and that the clinical trial data are reliable;
High level of involvement in departmental process improvement initiatives, including SOP & Working Practise Guidelines (WPG) review and writing;
High level of involvement in business development activities, including bid defence meetings;
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Due to the fact this is a growing CRO, they need someone with solid CRO experience (past or present). Also, for this reason, they need someone who can be office based in their UK HQ to work in close contact with the other Senior Staff and will report into the new VP who is well respected in the industry and is a great mentor. To apply for this role you will need:
Global Project Experience (Clinical only)
Minimum of 4 years as a Global Project Manager or 1 year as a Project Director within a CRO
Experience leading a team is a essential for the Director role
Strong BD, negotiation and communication skills
Life science degree is a bonus but not essential
Passion to want to help grow, build and develop a company’s clinical operations
If this opportunity is something that interests you, contact me directly to discuss in more detail. I look forward to speaking with you.
