Responsible for the management and cultivation of a high-performance working environment that promotes excellent standards in written communications, you will contribute to the effective and safe use of Roche products and achievement of business objectives through the delivery of high quality medical writing and publications. Able to operate on a strategic and tactical level you will proactively develop and manage publication plans in accordance with product lifecycles and communicate in a timely, informative manner amongst scientific and medical communities.
Leading a team of writers you will define clear objectives in line with wider business ambitions and customer needs whilst fostering consistency in compliance, accuracy, clarity and style. You’ll strive to continually improve and simplify the processes and policies already in place and take personal responsibility for ethical standards amongst the team.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract position - three days a week - Monday to Wednesday.

Experience of medical writing within a Pharmaceutical or Biotech setting, either in house or agency gained is essential, along with a degree in a life science, medical or pharmacy subject or equivalent. You’ll bring experience of working with customers and cross functional teams to achieve successful business outcomes as well as the competence to lead and inspire your own team. You must also be experienced in the interpretation and presentation scientific data, with an understanding of the legal and regulatory obligations that apply to medical publications.
