A world renowned contract research organisation in the South East are currently searching for a new (Senior) Statistical Programmer to join the team on a permanent basis.
This company has in-depth experience of therapeutic areas including intensive care, organ transplant oncology, and many more. *Providing programming and technical support to allocated studies within agreed project timelines
*Communicating programming related study issues to the Project Statistician
*Producing and QC of datasets, tables, figures and listings using SAS (*Specifically CDISC functions)
*Performs ad hoc programming tasks to assist the Head of Biostatistics with reviews
*Adheres to scope of work, budget and timelines for all study related activities
*Proactively communicates database and programming issues to internal and external study teams and suggests resolutions
*Reviews and updates SOPs
*Undertake opportunities to progress career towards leading own projects and/or teams
*Educated to degree level in a relevant Scientific discipline
*3-5 years experience in a pharmaceutical/CRO as a SAS Programmer
*Good experience in the QC of datasets, tables, figures and listings to summarise clinical data using SAS
*Excellent knowledge of TFL programming and the use of SAS macros
*Good knowledge of statistical programming processes
*Must have a good understanding of clinical data and ICH GCP
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
*Fluent English both spoken and written
*Demonstrates professionalism by punctuality, ability to deliver on commitments and positive interactions externally and internally
