Looking for an Associate Scientist who can design and conduct experiments to characterize drug delivery systems and ophthalmic formulations, including but not limited to release profile, solubility, loading capacity, particle size distribution, degradation, and stability.
The ideal candidate must also be able to assist in design and characterization of in-vivo/in-vitro studies, such as PK/PD studies in animal models.
Must have a BS or MS in biomedical/chemical engineering, polymer/materials science, or related discipline. As well as, at least three years of post-graduate experience in a research institution or pharmaceutical industry.
One must have knowledge and experience related to drug delivery system and ophthalmic formulation development. Laboratory experience in polymer formulation and drug/polymer quantification methods as well as characterization of drug delivery systems
Experience with analytical assay development is a plus.
