Job Summary:

An excellent opportunity to join inVentiv Health Clinical, a rapidly expanding CRO. You will be responsible for oversight of the conduct of a portfolio of clinical studies. You will also lead the operational contribution to proposal development and business development activities at a program level.


Job Description:

Oversee interdisciplinary clinical research programs
Represent inVentiv Health to the customer, ensuring satisfaction levels are maintained and program deliverables are communicated effectively
Ensure all studies within a program are conducted to reflect the therapeutic or client specific requirements
Apply study specific learnings across assigned portfolio of studies/clients
Ensure and maintain an in depth therapeutic and/or client specific knowledge and expertise for the assigned portfolio
Contribute to the development of Clinical Development Plans
Ensure programs of studies are conducted in compliance with GCP, relevant SOP’s and regulatory requirements
Plan, coordinate and present at internal and external meetings including conferences and professional organisations
Participate in bid defence meetings as required
Lead operational input to proposal development and pricing including proposed operations strategy at a program level
Drive performance improvement and operational efficiencies at a program level
Responsible for performing activities that are in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Operating Guidelines and performing other duties as assigned by management


Experience Required:

Prior relevant clinical research experience with an understanding of clinical drug development and clinical trials operations
Oversight of clinical programs and/or managing clinical programs
Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements
Strong organizational skills
Strong ability to manage time and work independently
Neuroscience therapeutic area expertise
High proficiency with full MS Office Applications, including MS Project
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade
High level of competence in English language
Ability to travel as necessary (approximately 25%)


Education Required:

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) level of qualification in life sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing or related field equivalent preferred
Advanced Degree preferred
Project Management qualified i.e. Prince II or PMP / equivalent preferred
