Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Medical Devices organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Regional Business Manager within the Woundcare market. This exciting role will be working across the North West of England territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, coaching, developing and managing a regional sales team for effective regional coverage and to optimise sales execution to attain sales and profit targets

Requirements:

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Medical Devices organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Regional Business Manager within the Woundcare market. This exciting role will be working across the North West of England territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, coaching, developing and managing a regional sales team for effective regional coverage and to optimise sales execution to attain sales and profit targets

Essential Requirements: 
BA or BS degree or equivalent experience (e.g. sales rep. With proved proven track record and leadership potential)
Successful track record in delivering sales targets
Previous medical sales management experience with proven success
Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM databases
Excellent oral presentation skills
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Has top line/turnover and costs/expenses sales responsibility for a sales region 
Defines sales targets and quotas for sales region to meet or exceed KPIs based on forecasts provided by marketing
Monitors account performance and redirects efforts when goals are not being met
Aligns resources according to strategic objectives of the sales region
Anticipates problems, develops contingency plans and identifies creative opportunities to maintain the organization’s competitive edge
Consistently monitors pricing strategy relative to market value of products and services within a defined policy defined by Sales Director
Acts as a liaison between the sales force and other functions in the organization including Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics and Commercial groups in order to develop appropriate product support, pricing and contributes to local sales strategy decisions by appropriate recommendations
Drives/contributes to tender processes
Develops own relationships with key customers to augment selling effort and negotiates contracts with customers at highest level as needed
Coaches and develops sales reps to maximize effectiveness and is open and honest with feedback to correct performance
Accountable for development and follow up on Account Specific Action Plans (ASAP)
Recruits and inducts new team members
Sets stretching KPIs and objectives for the team and evaluate the performance to drive continuous improvement
Provides direction, manages and develops the team members
Develops the sales talent to create local initiatives that genuinely support the execution of the global strategy and demonstrates a strong return on investment.
