A leading Market Access consulting firm is looking for a senior consultant in HEOR to join their modelling team based in London.
As a senior consultant (4-8 years) in health economics modelling you will be involved in the development from scratch of cost-effectiveness and budget impact models supported by a very structured and dynamic team.
You will be managing your own project but also supporting the delivery of the projects of other members of your team (typically you will have senior analysts and consultants supporting your project delivery but the culture of the team encourage multi-level collaboration so you may sometime coordinate principals working on your projects or support consultants on their projects).
Part of your responsibilities will be to support business development activities (build and maintain relationship with clients, write proposals participate to bid defence…) and to help driving the business unit forward (mentoring of junior, providing input to principals about how to improve the services provided to your clients and develop activities, working toward you own promotion/development…)
The role is mainly office based as most project as work as part of a team although a bit of home based flexibility can be offered if live far or have some family duties as the company values the welfare of its employees above all.
- MSc or equivalent in HEOR or related filed (statistics, Mathematics, Economics..)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in health economic modelling
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build complex models from scratch
- Strong/demonstrable project management experience
- Ability to consult and build relationship with clients
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Confident user of Microsoft Office package (especially Excel) and other relevant software (such as SAS, VBA, WinBugs…)
