I am currently working with a leading company in the Pharmaceutical Industry on a Senior appointment in the Market Access team. Based from the offices in Central London, the Lead Consultant position is a key member of the team aligned to the briefing, management and delivery of a broad variety of Market Access projects. This represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Consultant to contribute to divisional strategy and lead on complex client projects at the forefront of new medicines.
The main responsibilities of the Lead Consultant are to both dictate strategy of projects and to oversee timely delivery through management of a dedicated team of analysts. In addition you will be expected to deliver technical aspect of projects including payer and KOL interviews and landscape mapping.
With a broad service offering and the chance to collaborate with the wider business you will gain exposure to assessment of early phase assets, competitive landscape analysis, advising on acquisitions and in licensing through to the more traditional practices on pricing of mid phase assets, value communication and payer engagement practices.
The Lead Consultant, in collaboration with the divisional Principal, is a client facing function and will ensure the effective brief and timely delivery of projects to a consistently high standard. Business Development will not be a core responsibility of this role however you should look to build a strong network of Senior contacts within Pharmaceutical and Biotech clients.
To be suitable for this role you should have experience in the timely delivery of market access projects, ideally in a technical role and through the matrix management of dedicated analysts. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential with a second European language seen as a benefit. Strong project management and communication skills are a necessity and this position would suit an ambitious leader.
