Requirements:

We are currently looking to strengthen our Project Management team in Europe and are seeking Project Director II for our General Medicine Department  to be based in any of the following countries: UK, Poland, Netherlands, Spain or Belgium.


Key responsibilities:
A brief summary of duties you will be involved in as a Project Director II
• Providing oversight to Project Managers (PMs) who are managing projects ranging in size and complexity from single service studies to large full scope, multiple protocol projects, global projects and/or portfolio of projects
• Acting as a primary liaison between the Company and the Customer to ensure study launch, conduct, and closeout according to the Customer’s and Company's contractual agreement
• Serves as the team leader by overseeing the project team, including the clinical team
• Working with Business Development and the Proposal/Contracts groups to develop proposals for Customer requested opportunities
• Actively line managing and mentoring other project management staff (which may include senior project management staff) and clinical monitoring staff

Qualifications
 

Skills/attributes:
To succeed in this role you will need the following skills/experience:
• Education - BS/BA in the life sciences, nursing degree or equivalent with solid clinical trial monitoring experience
• Extensive clinical research experience in a contract research organization (CRO), pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company
• Extensive amount of active management of clinical research projects across functional areas, including full project life cycle management
• Previous line management experience
