Responsibility and accountability for achieving defined revenue and share targets for General Medicine Business in the South East region of the UK by partnering closely with cross-functional colleagues to drive our business within our General Medicine portfolio through leadership of team of 8 Regional Account Managers in the South East region
Develops strategic customer and market insights and an understanding of the General Medicine Business brand plans in order to determine the most effective plan to meet affiliate goals.
Conducts a detailed analysis and assessment of the Key Accounts to ensure clinical demand is generated through an understanding of the local issues and health priorities.
Maps key clinical opinion leaders and other stakeholders and understand the political and relationship issues within the wider Healthcare Economy.
Contributes to brand strategy to ensure plans are aligned and prioritised.
Leads the segmentation process of accounts and understands each account’s significance in the short and long term national success.
Manages an allocated budget to ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet the plan
Produces a plan of action based on the health economy, account priorities and strategy. This needs to be continually shared and reviewed with all key stakeholders
Plans, allocates and monitors team expenses budget to ensure budgetary control.
Involves and gains buy in from all key internal and external stakeholders in the preparation of plans to ensure alignment and prioritisation of activities.
Responsible for Sales Force Performance / Execution of National Strategy
Responsible for Team Leadership
Associated Administration including all administrative requirements completed in accordance with Hospital Specialist standards
Region: South East of England (covering East of England, Essex, London and South East Coast territories) Successful candidate will live on territory.
– Commercial (biopharma) Experience
– Experience of working in Cardio/Renal and or Bone Field
– In depth knowledge of UK secondary care environment & market
– Experience in related roles such as secondary care sales representative
– Knowledge of legal and compliance environment (ABPI)
– Must possess a full driving licence
– A graduate in a healthcare or business discipline
– Knowledge of Biotech industry
– Post Graduate qualification
– Leadership experience of related teams such as secondary care sales representative teams
