POSITION SUMMARY
Medpace is a global, full-service Clinical Research Organization (CRO) providing pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies with a broad range of clinical research services in support of Phase I – IV drug development. One of the services we offer is through our Medpace Imaging Core Lab (MICL), which combines state of the art imaging services with Medpace clinical teams to provide end-to-end suite of global imaging services to enhance and expedite biopharmaceutical and medical device development across therapeutic areas.
Our imaging services are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking full-time, office-based Medical Imaging Research & Developments (R&D) Engineers to join our team in Lyon, France. DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
•Identify, develop and validate advanced medical image quantification methodologies in various clinical indications (neurology, oncology and cardiovascular diseases) and imaging modalities (structural and functional MRI, PET, CT).
•Independently conduct R&D and software validation initiatives after a thorough review of state of the art methods described in the literature.
•Provide scientific and methodological support to other Medpace divisions, be actively involved in client-facing meetings and the preparation of scientific communications and publications to maximize the impact of Medpace’s technologies and services.
•Seek innovative approaches to solve complex scientific and technical problems and improve the overall productivity of the imaging division while adhering to the highest quality standards and strictly comply with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.



QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor Degree in Engineering is required, MSc or PhD is preferred
•3 to 5 year experience in the field of quantitative image processing
•Advanced programming skills
•Excellent communication skills in English and local language, ability to produce high quality technical and scientific documentation for internal and external use.
Travel: Minimal
