ACCOUNT DIRECTOR - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EARLY PHASE CLINICAL RESEARCH

Location: Europe

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and qualifies clients by establishing a sales/business relationship to ensure an active and continuous new and expanded business pipeline that exceeds strategic, long term, annual, and quarterly targeted sales projections
  • Conducts continuous market research to determine potential clinical research projects and new clients
  • Contacts client decision-makers, key management and senior staff to identify, qualify, pursue and close new business opportunities
  • Works with operations management to ensure clear understanding of clients' needs so client expectations are appropriately managed and consistently exceeded
  • Provides information to the proposal team to create a high quality proposal leadership
  • Motivates and works together with study teams in developing project plans, client interactions, proposal creation, presentations, closure of sales opportunities, contracts and change orders
  • Provides accurate sales forecasts for coming months and quarters
  • Owns and maintains the Account Plans per PRA's Sales Methodology

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a sales/projectmanagement position in clinical research
  • Master degree in Pharmaceuticals, (bio)medical or equivalent
  • Reads, writes and speaks fluent English. Ability to hold conversations in other European languages such as German, French or Dutch are a plus
