Job Summary:

We have an exciting new opportunity with a dynamic and supportive Pharmaceutical organisation. Our client has an extensive product range within the Cardiology market. This exciting role will be working as a Business Leader across North East England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. In this role, you will create and lead a high performing cross-functional team in order to ensure delivery of agreed business and patient access outcomes within the defined geography

Requirements:

Our client has an extensive product range within the Cardiology market. This exciting role will be working as a Business Leader across North East England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. In this role, you will create and lead a high performing cross-functional team in order to ensure delivery of agreed business and patient access outcomes within the defined geography

Essential Requirements: 
Educated to Degree Level ideally in Business, Science or Marketing
Minimum 5-year experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
Must have related field sales experience with previous experience in people management
Experience in market access and/or service development is highly preferable
Cross-functional / matrix working with leadership of a cross functional team
ABPI qualified. 
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Leadership and line management responsibility for the Team Members including CCG specilaists and Key Account Managers.
Working with aligned head office teams (Market Access, Marketing & Medical) and field stakeholders including Scientific Operations Team Leaders, to ensure shared learning and application of appropriate technical expertise in support of the business plan.
Development and implementation of a cross-functional Business Plan, aligned to the national Business Franchise plan, which maximises the business potential and delivers overall financial objectives including full consideration of sales, market access and service development activities, allocation of people and financial resource.
Ensure positive access environment including ensuring appropriate action plans exist and are implemented to deliver access in line with HTA and policy guidance including shaping formulary approval and local guidelines.
To lead and develop high-quality account management practice 
To personally identify, take ownership of and build networks/develop advocacy among key external stakeholders who are important to achieve short and long-term business interests; enabling patient access and optimal use of our client’s products.
To critically analyse, understand short and long-term trends across geography and specifically within key accounts in order to identify growth opportunities, adapt strategy/tactics, and allocate resources.
To recruit, onboard, engage, motivate, develop and coach the cross-functional team to realise their maximum performance and potential. To leverage the team’s knowledge, (both functional and cross-functional) skill-set and competencies to deliver the right solution to the right patient relative to the UK environment. To take full responsibility for coaching and developing and conducting individual performance appraisals of the team.
To evaluate KPIs and ensure appropriate action plans are developed to maximise opportunities and minimise challenges.
To ensure compliance in all interactions throughout the organisation and to maintain regular liaison with compliance functions to see that all processes and activities comply with internal and external policies.
