Job Summary:

Development opportunity for a medical affairs professional with medical background (GMC) to move into a head of medical affairs role. Office based in Berkshire and offering a competitive package.

THE JOB:

  • Provide Medical input into Marketing/Sales strategy and Medical support for operations for all CLIENT products.
  • Medical advice to the MSLs.
  • Provide satisfactory day to day management & staff development within the UK/IE Medical Affairs team of MSLs. Provision of an efficient & effective in house Medical Information (MI) service, both internally & externally through oversight of Scientific Advisers and external outsourced MI vendor.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with appropriate Corporate and UK personnel.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with existing and emerging Key External Expert HCPs.
  • Provide Marketing Divisions with an efficient and effective PMCPA/IPHA Code compliant medical approval service to help optimise achieving business goals.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Candidates MUST be medically qualified with GMC registration
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
  • Suitable amount of pharmaceutical industry experience, mainly/most recently in Medical Affairs.
  • Experience in management preferred but not essential.
  • Background in dermatology/biologics is preferred (but not essential)
