We currently have a vacancy for a Senior/ Clinical Manager to manage a team of Clinical Research Associates (CRA’s, RSM's and PA's) based in the UK, reporting in to the Country Manager. This is a full time permanent position based at our Cambridge offices in Granta Park.
 
With responsibility for the line management of your own team of employees, you will work closely with the UK Senior Clinical Director, and be involved in the recruitment, mentoring and training of Clinical Management employees, ensuring they deliver their operational goals. You will be responsible for focusing on the achievement of end results and key performance indicators to manage your teams’ and your own performance
 
With an excellent Clinical Research background and up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements within the UK, you will have previous line management and training experience.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences preferred or licensed or certified health care training (e.g. RN, MT, PA, RPh.).
  • Significant clinical research experience (comparable to 8 years) including remote and clinical monitoring and experience in all phases of study life cycle, including start up, interim and close out.
  • Line management experience appropriate to the size and complexity of the clinical management group in the designated country/region.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Valid Passport.
  • Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Demonstrate effective mentoring/leadership/supervisory ability including excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent clinical trials monitoring skills.
  • Demonstrate understanding of or ability to learn and demonstrate understanding of PPD SOPs, WPDs, and relevant regulations e.g. ICH/GCP, FDA guidelines).
  • Effective organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of English language and grammar.
  • Excellent team player with team building skills.
